Island Rab

Rab is the part of Kvarner’s islands. It is one of the most popular islands at Jadran. Mountain Kamenjak is high 408m and is protecting the main part of island of northeast winds from the land. Rab is hilly with oaks. The coast is broken with lot of bays. Rab has a extra healthy climate, which is no dust and salty. The sun is shinning for 2499 hours each year.

Rab was sold to Venice together with Dalmaci and stayed under their control till 1797. Island is connecting only by ferry (from Jablance to Misnjak, or from Rijeka or Zadar to Rab) between islands Rab and Krk is going ferry from Lopar to Baska. It is bus transportation on island, which connects Rab and Lopar, Rab and Kampor, Rab and Barbat, Rab and Suha Punta.
